Easy Felting Projects With Children (Needle and Wet Felting Chritmas Orn...
Needle felting or wet felting projects are very tactile activities for little hands as children love to work with soft fluffy wool, soapy water and they see immediate results.
Wet felting is suitable for children as young as three years of age. As for tools you will need warm water, and in addition soapy water in a spray bottle. The water has to be lukewarm so that it is safe for the children to use.
On the other hand with Needle Felting there are few safety measures to take into consideration when working with young children:
1. The felting needle is sharp so make sure that you provide finger protection and never leave the child/children alone.
2. These activities must be done under adult supervision!
